My dad is in love with beer. He’s not a heavy drinker, but he is a considered drinker – he always takes forever at the bottle shop looking for those unique crafted beers from little-known breweries so that he can try something new, it’s quite astounding just how much time he puts into finding that perfect beer. I have to say that my dad was a bit dubious when I gave him the certificate on Christmas for the year of beer, but when the first month arrived with its great selection of boutique beers from all over the country, he was like a kid in a candy store – I’ve never seen him so excited like this – great Christmas present, and well worth it to see that look on my dad’s face.
